Moo ping pork
Moo Ping Pork was cooked by Luke Mackay at his World Food Demonstration Kitchen and it proved so popular, we decided to share the recipe here.
Ingredients
500g pork shoulder cut into small chunks from Northfield Farm
50ml fish sauce
150ml soy sauce
3 cloves of garlic finely minced from Only Organics
2 red chillies finely chopped from Turnips
200g sugar
1 can coconut milk
Preparation Method
Mix all of the marinade ingredients apart from half a can of coconut milk together and add the pork.
Leave to marinade for at least an hour, but overnight if possible.
Thread three of four pieces of pork onto bamboo skewers that you have soaked in water (to prevent burning).
Get your grill pan or barbecue blistering hot and add the skewers. Cook until caramelised and sticky and cooked all the way through- about 4 minutes.
