Vegetarian Special at the Demonstration Kitchen

At this week’s Demonstration Kitchen, we’re focusing on the most natural ingredients we know – vegetables. In fact, every dish on our chef Hayley’s menu this week is entirely vegetarian! Hayley will be creating a delectable feast of exciting and exotic vegetarian dishes with all the ingredients sourced from the Market on the day.

First up is a Thai green curry using spices from Spice Mountain, shallots and chillies from Elsey and Bent and fresh coriander from Only Organics. Hayley will also be making a beautiful Paneer Sabzi, a flatbread served with radishes, spring onions, crumbly feta cheese and mixed herbs. Paneer Sabzi is surprisingly filling and perfect for warmer evenings.

Pasta will also get a look in, with cannelloni stuffed with goat’s cheese from Mons Cheesemongers, spinach, grated courgette and a tomato sauce flavoured with fennel seeds. There’ll also be the chance to try veggie-friendly Turkish Delight from The Turkish Deli which is made without gelatine and Borough Wines have provided gorgeous wines from around the world to accompany every dish. These include Alsace Blanck Pinot Gris and Lebanese Rouge De Cana.

Join us this Thursday 12th April in the Jubilee Market as these dishes get cooked and served up from 12-2pm!
