There’s an obvious link between artisan food production and the artwork that so many local artists produce – both take passion, dedication and a high level of skill which is why we love to host art-related events. The last few weeks have seen a whole host of artistic events happening in the Market and we’ve got even more in the pipeline as the summer rolls around!

From June 18th until July 16th, the Market will be hosting one of the many BT ArtBox installations that will be scattered around London. Celebrating 25 years of the wonderful charity Childline, the iconic London phone boxes are being given a modern makeover by some of today’s most exciting artists.

The ArtBox that will be calling the Market its home is designed byBristol-born artist Inkie who has a background in graffiti and street art. You’ll find it sitting comfortably by the entrance to our historic Floral Market and it’s a beautiful sight – an updated and exciting version of a British design classic surrounded by traders selling both modern and traditional produce!
