Steven and Joanna Airey offer their customers traditional and rare breed meat directly from their farm in Cumbria.

Specialising in Lakeland Herdwick Lamb and Galloway Beef, Cumbrian Speciality Meats aim is to produce quality meat with the flavour of years gone by.

Herdwick Lamb, has long been favoured for its distinctive flavour, which many attribute to the breed being slow growing, thereby resulting in meat that is sweeter and fuller in flavour than other breeds. Galloway beef, one of the oldest native UK breeds, is also renowned for its succulent flavour and tenderness.

You can try Steven and Joanna's delicious Herdwick lamb in a wrap with spiced rice at our lunchtime market, where you can also enjoy their Galloway beef stew with dumplings and traditional cottage pie.
