November 2018 marks the centenary of the end of the First World War. Inspired by her ‘At your convenience’ series for our website (looking at how the development of appliances after 1918 contributed to the changing role of women in the kitchen), Borough Market’s Cookbook Club host Angela will be cooking a menu reflecting attitudes to food at the time.

Sliced oranges with caramel
Demos take place every Thursday and Friday from 1pm-2.30pm in the Market Hall. The Demo Kitchen is free to attend with recipes, tips, tricks and tasters to take away with you.
