The Chef’s Table is an interactive pop-up dining experience held in Borough Market’s Cookhouse.
Chefs Sam Lazarus and Alberto Cavaliere are heading up this interactive pop-up, having worked together at the Michelin-starred Marcus at The Berkeley. Before that, Alberto graduated from Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen apprenticeship and Sam worked at the Savoy Grill owned by Gordon Ramsay.
The chefs’ ethos is to create food that is experimental, unique and which uses produce that is sourced locally, the aim being to elevate each ingredient to its full potential. The key ingredients will be sourced from Borough Market, showcasing top quality produce.
Overlooking the Market, the Cookhouse can seat 10 people, creating an intimate supper club feel. With the kitchen featuring as part of the space, diners can witness elements of each dish coming to life on the plate.
The pop-up is open Friday and Saturday for lunch and dinner from 18th March, with one lunchtime sitting and two sittings for dinner.
