Romy Gill MBE makes her debut at the demo kitchen
Head Chef, cookery teacher and owner of RomysKitchen, Romy Gill MBE will be joining us for the first time on the demonstration kitchen stage.
The first ever female Indian chef-owner in the UK, Romy grew up in India’s West Bengal. Introduced to recipes and styles of cooking from many different regions, her desire to introduce people to true Indian home cooking is paramount, shining through in her dishes and style of cooking. She'll be combining these influences from her heritage with the Market's seasonal British produce, to create a menu that includes:
Kid koftas with mint and apple raita, chapatti and kachumber salad
Come and join Romy at this free event on Thursday 25th August, from 12.30-2pm in the Market Hall, for recipe cards, cooking tips and some delicious Anglo Indian food.
