Talented chef Ben Tish joins us in the demo kitchen this Friday
Ben Tish, chef-director of Salt Yard Group will be joining us in the demo kitchen this Friday 3rd June, showcasing a selection of dishes from his new book Grill Smoke BBQ.
Ben, who regularly appears on television and features in the food columns of broadsheets and magazines, will be sourcing ingredients from our trader Brindisa for the demonstration this Friday, as well as buying the rest of his haul from the Market, so you can replicate the dishes at home with ease.
An expert in modern Spanish/Italian tapas style cuisine, his menu will be:
Chargrilled duck breast, peas, broad beans and hot mint sauce
Grilled fennel with goats curd, honey and hazelnut picada
Chilli spiked mackerel, lemon pickle, young spinach and sumac
Scallops in their shells, wild mushroom and horseradish gremolata
Smoked and grilled chorizo with roast peppers and saffron alioli
