Angela Clutton will be exploring recipes that make the most of this year’s cherry season, just in time for National Cherry Day
Angela Clutton, food writer and historian as well as the host of our Cookbook Club, will be taking the helm at the Demo Kitchen this Friday, exploring recipes that make the most of the season’s cherry harvest—as good as they are when munched directly from the bag! British cherries are only on the trader’s stalls for a few short weeks, so be sure to snap them up when you see them.
Angela’s menu will include:
Pickled cherry, prawn and goat’s cheese skewers
Woodpigeon with red wine poached cherries
Drunken knights of Windsor, cherry compote and basil
Angela will also be filling you in on the latest developments with our Cookbook Club.
Join Angela for tips, tastings and recipes on Friday 15th July in the Market Hall, 12:30-2pm
