Demo kitchen: Iranian food

Ahead of Social Saturday, Roberta Siao will be joining us for the first time in the demo kitchen, cooking Iranian food

A Brazillian chef who oversees the kitchen at Mazi Mas - a pop up restaurant and social enterprise that works to empower women from migrant and refugee communities - Roberta will be using Market produce to create a host of crowd pleasing dishes, to inspire your cooking at home.  

Her menu will include:

Spinach borani - a dip to be served with bread

Gheymeh bademjan - yellow split pea stew with tomatoes, cinnamon, turmeric and dried limes

Saffron chicken with rice and salad

Join Roberta at the free cookery demonstration, full of tips, tastings and recipes on Friday 14th October in the Market Hall, 12:30-2pm.
