Talented Italian cook and prolific food writer Ursula Ferrigno, will be in the demo kitchen on Friday 3rd November, cooking up a pumpkin extravaganza.
Ursula will be showing you that there's more to pumpkins than Halloween by cooking with a number of varieties in different dishes that bring out their character and flavour. Some dishes will also be delicious inspiration for using up pumpkin leftovers from your spooky celebrations.
Ursula's menu will include:
Kale, farro and pumpkin broth with pumpkin seed relish
Nonna Ferrigno's pickled pumpkin
Lasagne with butternut squash, pancetta and thyme and mushrooms
Nonna Ferrigno's best pumpkin sauce to serve with pasta
Chocolate and ginger pumpkin cake with spices
There'll be heaps of enthusiasm and tonnes of inspiration as Ursula pulls together an array of tasty pumpkin dishes. And of course there'll be recipe cards to take away, plus lots of tips and tastings. So make sure you stop by 12.30-2pm in the Market Hall.
