Positioned alongside our regular hot food traders in the Green Market, we will be hosting a new guest trader every few weeks.
Regular visitors to the Market will be familiar with the scents and sizzle of our wide array of street food traders—but now, for a limited time, fresh faces will be joining the ranks. Located at the end of the hot food line alongside the Cathedral Street end of the Green Market, each guest trader will be with us for two to four weeks only—so you’ll have to be quick to catch them.
Cally Munchy Pots
Cally Munchy’s mission is to use food as a means to bring cultures together, fusing quality British meat and veg with the flavours of Africa. Make your own Cally Munchy pot with a bed of jollof ‘n’ peas with your choice of Cally chicken (Bengali and Nigerian spices blended and marinated with homemade shi-tuan sauce), suya steak (Scottish bavette beef spiced with West African suya), or grilled cauliflower with house seasoning and a drizzle of shi-tuan sauce. Top it off with sweet red onions, smoky tomato and bell pepper nyiragongo sauce, spinach and lettuce or coconut flakes and a side of kelewele (Ghanaian seasoned plantain) and you’ve a bowl of filling and flavoursome African-inspired deliciousness.
