What's On

A Celebration of Food and Art
23/May/2012
Borough Market is a hive of artistic activity. You only need to look around the Market to see the work of past resident artists and many of our traders have artistsic tendencies when they’re not creating the high quality, artisan produce they offer on their stalls.
To celebrate great local art, we are hosting a Food and Art Day on Sunday 17 June in the Jubilee Market. Throughout the day, we’ll be showcasing the fantastic work of local artists from Southwark Arts Forum.
To bring you the best of both worlds, our traders will be offering the finest Borough Market produce. Traders, including Oliver’s Bakery, Burnt Sugar, Bread Ahead, Comptoir Gourmand and the Turkish Deli, will all be on hand to provide the best of their produce. All the treats on offer will have an afternoon tea theme to help give the Market a gallery feel!
Join us from 12-4pm on Sunday 17th June for this brilliant free event – it’s bound to be a great family day out and is perfect for Father’s Day!
