Inspiration from Spring at the Demonstration Kitchen
With the days becoming noticeable longer and spring officially here, it’s not surprising that many of us turn away from comfort food and start to seek out ingredients with a more refreshing taste. This want for something a little lighter has inspired our resident chef Hayley Edwards to create a spring-themed menu at this week’s Demonstration Kitchen.
Also on Hayley’s menu is fish cooked with saffron from Spice Mountain and asparagus from Elsey & Bent as well as a delicious avocado, spinach and cherry tomato salad. We’ve teamed up with Borough Wines who have recommended the perfect wines, from as far afield as Hungary and Lebanon, to accompany each of these dishes.
