Streetscape Carousel

Collaged London is an art project that aims to create points of surprising beauty and excitement throughout the city. As big supporters of all forms of artistry – food or otherwise – Borough Market is proud to be hosting one of the projects beautiful Streetscape Carousels.

The project aims to build visual carousels that can be interacted with by passers-by. The carousel that will be located in Borough Market will include images from the Market and its surroundings, including Southwark Cathederal and the Shard. The aim is to truly reflect the unique character of SE1.

Art lovers and food shoppers will be encouraged to peek inside the carousel to see the silhouettes that will wrap around them. At dusk, the carousel will become a lantern, creating shadows that will dance around Jubilee Market, making Borough and even more magical place to be.

The Streetscape Carousel will be with us from Friday 27th July and is a beautiful addition to Borough Market this summer.
