Secret Smokehouse founder Max hails from the west coast of Scotland, where he began smoking fish at a young age. Since then he has moved to Stepney, built his own smoker, and set up the Secret Smokehouse from a shed in 2015. He now produces RSPCA high welfare certified PGI status ‘London cure smoked salmon’, trout, haddock, kippers—all smoked, cured, filleted and packed by hand, under the arches by London Fields.
