Al fresco dining at Borough Market

From 4 May

BOROUGH MARKET OPENS ITS HALLS FOR OUTDOOR DINING

One of the very few positives to come out of the Covid lockdowns was Britain’s sudden embrace of the joys of al fresco dining, and nowhere more so than at Borough Market. The conversion of many of the Market’s halls into outdoor eating spaces at the end of the trading day started by necessity, when all the restaurants were forced to close their dining rooms, but returns for 2022 entirely by design.

Throughout the warmer months, starting 4th May, designated dining spaces in Borough Market Kitchen, Three Crown Square and Stoney Street will be opening every evening from Wednesday to Saturday, providing seating for many of the Market’s restaurants and street food traders. The result, as the past two years have shown, will be a vibrant, atmospheric and highly sociable environment in which to enjoy a wide selection of exceptional food, outdoors but largely protected from the elements.

Al fresco dining options are available Wednesday to Saturday 6.30 – 11pm. Check the individual traders and restaurants for days, opening times and bookings.
