An opportunity to meet the makers and craft the perfect Christmas cheeseboard
If there’s one thing Borough Market isn’t short of, it’s places to buy cheese. It can take an afternoon just to decide whether you want caerphilly or comte, and if it’s comte—from which stall to buy it? Borough is solving the issue in one fell swoop with an evening dedicated to the stuff. In what’s become an annual tradition, the Market’s cheesemongers will be setting up in the Green Market and Three Crown Square 6-8pm Wednesday 11th December, offering you the chance to meet the makers and glean their expert guidance on crafting the perfect cheeseboard—just in time for Christmas.
Also joining us will be Ned Palmer—previously of Trethowan’s Dairy and Neal’s Yard Dairy, now expert cheesemonger and tasting events extraordinaire—who’ll be in conversation with Luke Mackay at the Demo Kitchen. Ned’s book, A Cheesemonger’s History of the British Isles, will also be available to buy on the night.
