The Lions part harvest celebration

24 October

FREE PERFORMANCES FROM LOCAL THEATRE COMPANY

The Lions part was formed by a group of professional actors who met doing First Folio work with the Original Shakespeare Company. Pre-pandemic, the members would perform twice a year on Bankside in their free theatre-based seasonal festivals, October Plenty and Twelfth Night.

This year, they’re returning to their grassroots home and will be ‘busking’ John Barleycorn (with singing goddesses) along their old route from The Globe to The George Inn.

Watch them perform at Borough Market on Sunday 24th October, from 4.15-5.15pm.They will be performing at:

— The entrance to the Market between Ginger Pig and Le Marché du Quartier (in front of The Market Porter)

— Between Fish! and the Cathedral, opposite the Bread Ahead bakery.
