Mrs Sandhu knows all there is to know about Punjabi food. Inspired as a child by watching her father create new recipes and source seasonal ingredients, she makes everything from scratch in her Hitchin kitchen then, with her daughter Preet, brings it to Borough Market every Friday and Saturday. Temptings lives up to its name with a wide range of delicious savoury and fruit-based chutneys, pickles and fragrantly spiced hot pancakes.
