School Food Matters soup sale
4th February, 12 – 2pm
HOT SOUP AND FRESH BREAD, MADE AND SOLD BY SCHOOL STUDENTS
Join us on Tuesday 4th February for a very special lunch option: hot soup made from surplus produce, mopped up with fresh bread, all of it created and sold by secondary school students as part of the School Food Matters programme. The students, from four London schools, attended soup and breadmaking masterclasses at the Market before returning to their schools to refine their recipes and plot their sales strategies. They’ll be with us from 12 – 2pm selling their wares. All money raised will go to Plan Zheroes to help feed local people in need.
