“SHUK’S CHOCOLATE BABKA HAS BECOME THE STUFF OF BOROUGH – AND INSTAGRAM – LEGEND”
Shuk’s hazelnut and chocolate babka has become the stuff of Borough – and Instagram – legend. Meaning ‘street market’ in Hebrew, Shuk was born of founders Richard Littman and Mark Jankel’s desire to share the dishes of their childhoods. Serving Tel Aviv-style pitas stuffed with the likes of lamb sofrito and pickled red cabbage or fish tagine with amba tahini alongside boldly flavoured salads, ingredients are carefully sourced from across the Middle East.
