Throughout the month, the Market will be filled with stunning overhead decorations, bustling crowds and the unmistakable energy that makes the Market such a joyful place to visit at Christmas.

Extended hours
Entry to the Market is always free. We are open seven days a week in December, with opening hours as follows:
Monday – Friday: 10am – 5pm
Saturday: 9am – 5pm
Sunday: 10am – 4pm
The following exceptions apply:
Tuesday 23 December: 10am – 6pm
Wednesday 24 December: 8am – 3pm
Thursday 25 – Saturday 27 December: Closed
Wednesday 31 December: 10am – 3pm
Thursday 1 – Friday 2 January 2026: Closed

Alongside our usual traders, we’ll be welcoming a line-up of guest stalls offering festive treats for a limited time only.

Seasonal produce & specialities
Our traders are excited to share their very best festive produce. Expect stalls piled high with winter vegetables, artisan cheeses, sweet treats, traditional bakes and the best meats of the season – all the essentials for your Christmas table.
You’ll find limited-edition seasonal specials that you can’t find anywhere else, including drinks, jars and sauces perfect for gifting, and street food specials in the Borough Market Kitchen.
There are also festive menus available at some of the Market’s acclaimed restaurants – book ahead to secure your table.
