Michael Hickson worked his first day at Borough Market as a teenager more than 20 years ago and has been grafting there as a skilled greengrocer ever since. Having made his way up from barrow boy to stall manager, he is now running a fruit and veg business of his own, Hickson & Daughter.

Named in recognition of his daughter Millie, offering a counterbalance to all the ‘& Son’ names traditional in marketplaces, the stall offers a comprehensive range of high-quality fruits, vegetables and herbs.

Seasonal produce is sourced from local farmers whenever possible and always with a strong commitment to minimising the environmental impact of its production, transportation and packaging.
